When the Bisquera Brothers first began making music together, it was evident right away that something very special was happening. Because of everyone’s busy schedule, their infrequent performances were inspired and magical. Immediately, a buzz began in Los Angeles that five of the music business’ top musicians had joined forces. And from the beginning, if felt like a family…hence the band’s name.
Curt Bisquera-drums
In the past 13 years, Curt Bisquera has become one of the most sought after drummers in the recording business. Music legend Jeff Porcaro recognized Curt’s ability early on and began recommending him. His feel and approach to songs can be heard on numerous hit singles and has been seen on many television specials, including the recent Joni Mitchell tribute. Curt’s credits include Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Ricky Martin, Tom Petty, Paula Abdul, Delbert McClinton, Carl Perkins, Tina Turner and many, many more.
Leon Bisquera-keyboards
Curt’s cousin Leon Bisquera is the founder of the Bisquera Brothers and composer of many of the band’s compositions. Leon is a master keyboard artist, recently touring the world with Jazz great Randy Crawford. Other credits include Rick Braun, Kiki Ebsen, Richard Elliot, Warren Hill, Boney James and Gary Wright. His compositions can be heard on CDs by Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Warren Hill and Boney James.
Reggie Hamilton-bass
Simply put, Reggie Hamilton is one of the world’s finest bass players. Both in the studio and on tour, Reggie has worked with the best. His musicianship is unparalleled, which is why his credits read like a who’s who. They include Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton, Michael Bolton, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner, Aaron Neville, Ricky Martin as well as film soundtracks Passenger 157, Anastasia and Living Out Loud. Recently touring with Christina Aguilera, Reggie will soon tour with Grammy winner Babyface.
James Harrah-guitar
James posses that chameleon ability that every guitar player strives for. Known for his intriguing, creative textures, James’ talents have been heard on many recordings. Recently recording and touring with Jewel, his eclectic credits include sessions with Peabo Bryson, Valerie Carter, Peter Cetera, Ray Charles, Andrae Crouch, The Commodores, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, Vonda Shepard, Wilson Phillips and many more.
Albert Wing-woodwinds
Albert Wing belongs to the elite Frank Zappa band alumni. Anyone who knows the Zappa legacy knows this means virtuoso talent. One of the best saxophonists in the world, Albert has worked on five Zappa recordings as well as sessions with Paula Abdul, Michael McDonald, Flo & Eddie, Scott Henderson, Howie Mandel and Johnny Guitar Watson. Most recently, Albert has been busy touring with The Divine Ms. M – Bette Midler.
