Back in the early 70s, when David Garfield was a rising teen musician playing in traditional jazz and R&B bands in his hometown of St. Louis, the multi-talented keyboardist/composer dreamed of moving to Los Angeles someday and forming an instrumental band that would incorporate all of his diverse influences—from jazz, funk and Latin to rock, world, African and Brazilian music.
