Colorado native Mollie Weaver began singing at a young age. At 16, she began recording and performing with John Denver's band across the country. After attending a prestigious music conservatory where she learned the art of singing opera, she moved to New York City to sing with the New York City Opera while also recording songs for television and film including Fox Broadcasting Company and CW Networks. She sang on many stages in New York City including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Joe's Pub and in 2007 and 2010 Mollie performed her own concerts at Carnegie Hall. Mollie has provided live backing vocals for many artists including Lionel Richie, Martina McBride, and the young Taylor Swift. Weaver also sang background vocals for Dave Matthews on The Grammy's in 2010 and for the contestants on American Idol in 2013. She has shared the stage with numerous entertainers including Tony Bennett, Noel Paul Stookey, Jay Leno, Amy Grant, Vince Gill and Rhianna. Most recently, you can hear her background vocals on the new release "Find You" by Zedd which aired during the 2014 Grammy awards and the 2014 Superbowl and is on the soundtrack to the Hollywood blockbuster flim "Divergent".Mollie is currently living in Los Angeles and sings in Rick Cowling's band while writing and recording music.
