Barry Joseph Goldberg is a blues and rock keyboardist, songwriter and record producer. As a teenager in Chicago, Goldberg performed with Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, and Howlin' Wolf. He played keyboards in the band supporting Bob Dylan during his 1965 newly 'electrified' appearance at the Newport Folk Festival. He formed The Electric Flag with Mike Bloomfield in 1967, and later formed the Barry Goldberg Reunion in 1968. Goldberg's songs (some of which co-written with Gerry Goffin) have been recorded by many musicians including Rod Stewart, Gladys Knight, Joe Cocker, Steve Miller, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Gram Parsons and B. J. Thomas. Goldberg's first professional recording session was "Devil With The Blue Dress On" / "Good Golly Miss Molly" by Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels. Among the albums he contributed to are Leonard Cohen's Death of a Ladies' Man, The Ramones' End of the Century, The Flying Burrito Brothers' The Gilded Palace of Sin, and Super Session which featured Michael Bloomfield, Stephen Stills, and Al Kooper....Barry's bio has many more accolades...too many to list. "Shari has always provided an honest and powerful musical experience that strikes at the core of what music is all about. Great energy, original material, a true group performance, and a talent that reaches off the stage to touch the audience." Joe Wagoner AKG/Harmon. - Currently residing in Los Angeles Shari Puorto is “a soulful singer with a sexy and raspy sound. Like Joplin, Puorto is a passionate performer with an energy that can rattle the foam in a pint of Pilsner.” Kevin, Shari has performed continuously all over California since early 2000. Shari is best known as a passionate and bold performer. She has been compared to the likes of Janis Joplin (due to her performances), Bonnie Raitt, Bonnie Bramlet, due to vocal tone, ability and control. How would you describe Shari? Combine Melissa Ethridge, Bonnie Raitt, Etta James and the soul of Janis Joplin. She is a powerful and dynamic live performer who quickly and quite naturally connects with her audience. Her infectious enthusiasm overcomes you, you have no choice but to get pulled in. (She’s likely to steal your heart if you get too close!). To read more and see more of Shari Puorto, please visit
