Provence Bartender/Server

Provide courteous, professional preparation of beverages for guests and servers. Prepare high-quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request. Takes orders and serves guests at the restaurant bar according to company standards and all State legal guidelines.

Compensation: $15.00 + Tips

General Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve guests at the bar
  • Pour drinks, using standard pour specifications
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Clean and stock bar daily
  • Record accurate tip-out sheets daily
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Non-Essential Functions:

  1. Serve Food as requested
  2. Assist with the cleaning of operational areas


Desired Skills and Experiences:

  • 2-3 Years’ experience as a bartender in a restaurant environment
  • Must have a valid California Food Handlers card
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
  • Current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain)
  • Exceptional guest service skills
  • Basic computer skills (Aloha)
  • Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends

  • Ability to stand stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift
