Brother Sal’s music is everything from saloon gospel rock to whorehouse gospel, and also sadly his genre is increasingly rare. His music is gritty, resonating within all of us. The mere description of “whorehouse gospel” makes you want to listen just to see how far he’ll go with his throaty, honest and straight-forwarded vocals. With a bandana hanging from his back pocket, and a cigarette behind his ear, he’s a force to be reckoned with on the piano. Before the night is over, you’ll be stomping your feet to the rhythm of his sweet piano, howling curse words and laughing the whole way.
